I was reading my school newspaper and came upon this and just found it interesting. Kind of made me think about friends and how to value friendship. I've been through my share of friendships and lost one of my best friends over something stupid. But it's also weird how the people you don't expect to be there for you at times are the ones who come to your aid. I admit I'm not one to make friends easily, it takes awhile for me to gain there trust, but once its there I'll stick by your side.

You know what else I was thinking, I'm not sure if this has ever happened to anyone. I always end up giving advice to other people whenever they have problems or are in need and I don't mind it because I like helping others. But when you need advice you don't know who to turn to, because those people you helped aren't there for you. It's kind of irritating, that you expend all your energy on helping someone, but they don't give it back in return. I don't know just a thought.

Another question does your significant other have to be your "best friend"?
