May 23, 2005: Leaving on A Jet Plane....Disneyland
Left to go to the airport at 7am to catch out 8:45am flight. The flight was smooth 6 hours long. Arrived in California and the weather was beautiful. Got our car and drove down to Anaheim. Its great there all freeways, so many of them..hehe..So there got to the hotel which was only 1/2 mile away from DisneyLand. So we settled in, changed and went to DisneyLand.
DisneyLand is one of the happiest places on Earth..hehe..Even though it was hot we made our way to all the places. Got to see the infamous Castle and CHIPS ang dami crowns din dun..hehe. So un went to Mickey's House and got a pic with him also. The parade was great, the floats were so nice & their numbers were very good. But I think the best part were the fireworks. It was just amazing seeing the whole place light up b/c they turned off all the lights on the ground. The fireworks display was so pretty. Too bad I didn't have anyone with me to hold, but its ok. DisneyLand really is magical. Felt like I was a kid again. :)
Went back to the hotel and passed out cause we had to wake up early for our tour of LA the next day

RECAP of past events:

May 22, 2005: Magnificent Seven Concert
As a graduation gift my cousin & her boyfriend got me tickets to the Magnificent Seven Concert. So I was excited because I thought I wouldn't be able to watch it. So fast forward to Sunday. It was kind of hectic since I had a semi elementary school reunion at 12 and had to leave for the concert by 2pm. So before I left for church I tried to print out some pics that I wanted the champions to sign, but to my surprise my photo printer wasn't working, so I just left it. When I got back homeat 1:30 I tried to print it on my regular printer with photo paper and it worked :) So there we made it to the venue at exactly 3pm and of course the show started filipino time about 3:15-3:30ish..hehe
There was an opening act a 8 year old girl. I didn't get any pics, but this girl could sing!!!!
So the show started, I won't go in to too many details...I'll just share some of my highlights. Raymond only sang one solo song, which was kind of disappointing, but its okay. Christian & Rachelle Ann sang 'Say That You Love Me' kilig to the max with matching kiss at the end. Christian & Sheryn went down to the crowd. Frenchie is a good entertainer as well..hehe. Sarah & Mark sang 'Let the Love Begin' which I think is better than the version that is out now. Mark's version of Ikaw ang Lahat Sa Akin made me want to cry..haha...Of course Sarah had most of the night a definite crowd pleaser. The boys sang a medley of Teleserye songs on Ch. 2 and the girls sang Whitney songs. One of the best parts of the night was when they sang novelty songs (Bulaklak, In or Out, Jumbo Hot Dog, etc)...they all have such great chemistry... it was funny seeing Christian dance Jumbo Hot Dog..hehe...At the end they each sang parts of different songs, but I think Rachelle's was the best it was a Mariah song (forgot the name) she whistled during the high part it was just fabulous.
Ok so after the show we had tickets to have "dinner" witht the champions at this little filipino restaurant near the venue. When we got there it was pretty small & they weren't letting anyone in without tickets, so thank god we had tickets. We were seated with 3 older ladies and they were so funny. They asked me who I liked and I said Rachelle Ann & Raymond (b/c of JOY..hehe) plus everyone else. So we chit-chatted a bit and ate before the champions came. Then THEY arrived still looking pretty & cute as if they just came from home. Just my luck Raymond sat at the end of the table near my table so when he sat down I asked for a pic and he kindly granted it. While taking the pic my cousins bf goes "Raymond #1 fan mo yan!!"...so imagine kkhiya naman db?..hehe...so after the pic I turned around to say thank you and he gave me a kiss on the cheek!!!....Was I surprised..totally unexpected..hehe...so the ladies at my table kept teasing me & stuff. I got in trouble too for taking the pic cause the owner said to let them eat first before pictures & stuff. So there they were eating & then Raymond went to use the bathroom which was by us too. So wala lang pa-cute lang me while he was walking. Then while he was in the bathroom the ladies told me to stand by the door & take a pic with him..haha...So he came out and my cousins bf is holding the camera up, but its off & her bf goes 'Raymond picture naman dyan' & nag-pose talaga c raymond, sbi ko uyyy hindi yan nka-on tapos sbi nya oh cge mamaya na lang..hehe..so there the owner said every table will have 3 mins to have pics, etc and our table would go 1st, so of course I was excited. BUT then all of a sudden the owner said the champions are leaving b/c they have an early flight..so everyone got mad 'cause we felt cheated. So everyone rushed to the champions table to take pics, etc. So I grabbed the picture of Joy & Raymond cause I promised her and I snuck around behind raymond even though there were alot of people. I handed him the pic and said 'Can you sign this for Joy?' Tapos sbi nya 'Saan 2'? sbi ko s Star in a Million. Sbi nya ' Uyyyy nandun k?' Sbi ko hindi friend ko yan. So he was signing it but the pen didnt work so I gave him my pen to sign then after that he never gave it back..hehehe :) So un it was chaotic and they were trying to the the champions out the back door which was also near our table.haha..So first some people brought Mark & Raymond to the kitchen, but that led to the front door. So I heard someone say they were going to the back so sbi ko 'Raymond sa back door daw kayo dadaan' tapos sbi nya' Ano ba yan ang gulo naman'..hehe..tapos un picture uli kmi..then thats it :)

All In All I was happy even though I didn't get pics with anyone else. Raymond was super nice & gwapo din..hehe

what a great way to start off my week for vacation...went to see the champions concert...it was GREAT!!!!...too much to write about now, but raymond manalo is a cutie & super bait too..hehe..well off to California & Las Vegas,NV for 1 week...i'll miss everyone!!!!!!

Congratulations Class of 2005!!!! YaY..I've finally graduated from college...I'm happy & sad to leave school & all the things I've learned outside of the classroom, but I know in a couple of months I'll be back there filling my brain with new information :)

my parents came back from the philippines last week and they took lots of pictures & lots of pasalubong...hehe :) but looking at the pictures makes me miss my cousins in the philppines even more
