March 10
Left for the airport at 6:45am. Our flight was supposed to leave at 8:50am, but got delayed for almost 2 hours!!! So we were just sitting on the plane for 2 hours due to air traffic. But once the plane took off it was okay. Arrived in L.A. around 1:30 and called Kath we saw her waiting in the terminal then beso beso. Went to pick up the car and my cousin didn't want the gearshift on top, but we didn't know what to call it, so we just motioned to the guy that we wanted it on the bottom..haha So there we got the car and we were hungry so while on the way to the hotel we found a McDonald's and grabbed some food. Then almost near the hotel we saw SHAKEYS so we stopped by and got some pizza too..haha Then finally got to the hotel & checked in and got to our room. Of course we ate and got everything ready for the concert. Chatted a bit with ate arvee & mids.
Since we were kind of sleepy, stopped by Starbucks 1st then off to the concert. What was supposed to be a 15 min drive turned out to be 1 hour!! haha..we got kinda lost, since we didn't know the area. But we arrived at the theater exactly at 8pm while it was raining. Good thing it didn't start yet, only the opening acts. We looked for Ms. Lisa, but she was already backstage, so we just went in. Found our seats & ate Cha and gave her some things. While Next Phaze was performing Kath & I were fixing the butterfly & star signs.
Then it began the lights dimmed and Nyoy & Nina came out on stage singing Time Of My Life..one of my fav songs..hehe..I won't do into detail..you can read all about it in NSS :) http://www.ninasoulsiren.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1158&st=80
After the concert we still wanted to go out, but ate Cha couldn't go so we just went back to the hotel. Looked at the videos we took & the pics then we all passed out..haha
March 11
After getting ready Kath, my cousin & I went down to get some breakfast. What a memorable breakfast..haha. Kaths' fav food is now PANCAKES!!!..special delivery for us..hehe
So we went back up to the room & chatted for a bit and called up ate cha to see what the plans were. She said she would meet us at the Kodak Theater. So we went down to Hollywood Blvd to do some sightseeing. Of course we went to Starbucks again to wake up..haha. Went to Chinese Theater, Kodak Theater & the shopping mall there, Wax Museum & Guiness Book of Records Museum. SHINE..I took a pic of Lynda Carter at the Wax Museum for you..hehe So after that met up with ate Cha at Sephora & we made chikka in the store..haha Of course took some pictures, then ate Cha left to get her haircut :) During that whole time we called Ms. Lisa to see if we could meet with Nina, but unforutunately they were spending time with their family. She said the plan was for us to go to the hotel Sunday before they left, but we were all leaving Sat night :( So it really wasn't meant to be :(
After parting with ate Cha we decided to go to Jolibee!!! We found it inside a mall and there were soo many Filipinos!! So of course we all ordered #6 Chicken Joy & Spaghetti..hehe..also halo halo & pearl coolers..MmmMmM. After eating we took pics with Jollibee haha. Then we walked around and saw Goldilocks right next door, so Kath bought so goodies to take home :) We walked around a bit and then asked guest services for directions to the airport since we didn't know the way haha Got to the airport and said our goodbyes with Kath :(
Then my cousin & I made our way to a hotel to drop off some stuff, but unforumately they weren't there, so we just left it at the front desk. Then off to San Diego, got there about 9pm and the hotel was pretty nice with queen sized beds..hehe
March 12
Woke up early and had some breakfast. made our way to SeaWorld. Saw the otter show which was funny & I got wet :( Then went to see the dolphins...they're so cute and jump really hight. After that went to Shamu..he was BIG..haha The shows were pretty good. After that just went to the other sites and went on the skyride, the view was soo pretty! Got to see some flamingos, penguins, fish, sharks, starfish. Bought osme souveneirs as well. Went to pick up our picture that they took when we entered and they came out nice, so we got them. Funny thing my cousin had cotton candy in her hands and they guy working at the counter asked us if it was good and we said yes. Then he was like oh cause I've never tasted it, so we offered him some but he said no..haha..How can you not have cotton candy when u work there??..hahaha
After SeaWorld we were going to go get In & Out Burgers, but ended up at the Seaport instead. Real pretty place with nice views. Had some pizza and did a little more shopping. Nice place to walk around and relax. Then we went to Horton Plaza, cause I needed to get some sweatpants..haha That is one nice mall. It had about 4 levels, I think and is outdoors, but has covering. Went to Macy's & there was a sale so of course we bought some stuff and even got a discount cause we were out of state :) Then we saw a Panda Express and got some take out. Since we were so amazed by the mall we took pictures..haha..People kept looking at us, but we didn't care.
Then after that finally went to In & Out and got some burgers to go. Before we went back to the hotel stopped by Walgreens to get some pins & water. By the time we got to the hotel all our food was cold, but we still ate it haha. The In & Out Burgers & fries were DELICIOUS!!!!..Then we called it a night..
